Villagers Trend – Seller Policy

Welcome to Villagers Trend Seller Portal.

This Seller Policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, and operational guidelines for all registered sellers on the Villagers Trend platform. By listing or selling products on Villagers Trend, you agree to comply with the policies mentioned below.


1. Seller Eligibility

  • Sellers must have valid business documents such as GST registration (if applicable), PAN card, and a verified bank account.

  • The seller must ensure that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

  • Villagers Trend reserves the right to verify or reject any seller application.


2. Product Listing Guidelines

  • All listed products must be genuine, original, and comply with Indian laws.

  • The product title, description, price, and images must be accurate and not misleading.

  • Sellers must not list prohibited, restricted, or counterfeit products.

  • Villagers Trend may remove or suspend any listing that violates platform policies.


3. Order Processing & Pickup

  • Villagers Trend manages the shipment pickup process.

  • The seller is responsible for generating the pickup request, downloading the shipping label, and pasting it securely on the parcel.

  • Once an order is received, the seller must pack the product properly and make it ready for pickup as per the schedule.

  • Delivery charges will be automatically deducted from the seller’s wallet.


4. Return to Origin (RTO) Policy

  • If a customer refuses delivery or is unavailable, the shipment will be returned to the seller as RTO (Return to Origin).

  • The RTO shipping charge will be deducted from the seller’s wallet.

  • Sellers are required to accept RTO parcels. Repeated rejection of RTO parcels may result in account suspension.


5. Returns & Refunds

  • Returns will only be accepted as per Villagers Trend’s Return & Refund Policy.

  • In case of return due to product damage or wrong item shipped, the seller will bear the return cost.

  • Sellers are expected to maintain proper unboxing or packing proof to avoid disputes.


6. Payment & Wallet

  • Seller payments will be credited to the registered bank account or Villagers Trend wallet after successful delivery and completion of the return window.

  • Deductions (like delivery, RTO, refund, penalty, or commission fees) will be reflected in the seller wallet statement.


7. Commission & Charges

  • Villagers Trend may charge a platform fee, payment gateway fee, or other applicable charges.

  • A detailed breakdown of fees will be visible in the seller dashboard or settlement report.


8. Seller Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate product information.

  • Maintain high product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Respond to customer queries or complaints promptly.

  • Avoid any fraudulent or misleading activity.


9. Account Suspension or Termination

Villagers Trend reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller account if:

  • Fake, duplicate, or counterfeit products are listed.

  • Multiple customer complaints or poor performance metrics occur.

  • Seller violates any part of this policy or engages in fraud.


10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any dispute between Seller and Villagers Trend shall be handled through mutual discussion.

  • In case of unresolved disputes, Villagers Trend’s decision will be final and binding.

  • All disputes are subject to Jaipur, Rajasthan jurisdiction.


11. Policy Updates

Villagers Trend may modify or update this Seller Policy at any time. Sellers are advised to review the policy regularly for changes. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the latest terms.
