Villagers Trend - Return & Replacement Policy

At Villagers Trend, we are committed to providing a smooth, secure, and customer-friendly shopping experience.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return, replacement, or refund under the conditions mentioned below.


1. Eligibility for Returns

A product is eligible for return or replacement if:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or wrong product.
  • The product is missing accessories or parts mentioned in the description.
  • The delivered product differs in color, size, or design from what was ordered.

Important:
Products must be returned in unused condition with original packaging, labels, tags, and accessories intact.


2. Return Request Timeline

  • Apparel & Fashion Products: Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
  • Jewellery & Custom Orders: Non-returnable unless a damaged or incorrect item is received.
  • Made-to-Order / Customized Products: Non-returnable except in cases of wrong or damaged delivery.

3. Return Process

  1. Login to your Villagers Trend account.
  2. Go to My Orders → Select Product → Refund Send.
  3. Upload a clear unboxing video/Image showing the product condition at the time of opening.
  4. Select your preferred refund method:
    • Wallet Refund
    • Offline Payment Refund
  5. Once approved, our pickup partner will collect the product from your address.

4. Refund Options

Wallet Refund

  • Refund credited to the Villagers Trend Wallet can be used only for shopping on Villagers Trend.
  • Wallet balance cannot be transferred to a bank account or UPI.

Offline Payment Refund

Customers can receive refunds through:

  • Bank Account Transfer
  • UPI Transfer

Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment details to avoid delays or failed transactions.

Important:
Unboxing video submission is mandatory for verification and fraud prevention purposes.


5. Refund & Replacement Processing

  • Returned products will be inspected at our warehouse before approval.
  • Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Replacement orders will be initiated based on product availability.
  • If pickup fails due to customer unavailability, the return request may be automatically cancelled.

6. Dispute Refund Request Policy

If a seller rejects a refund request within the 7-day return period and the customer is not satisfied with the rejection reason, the customer may reopen the dispute.

Re-Submission Timeline

  • Customers may re-submit a dispute refund request within 10 days from the product delivery date.

Marketplace Investigation

The Villagers Trend Marketplace Team will:

  • Review all evidence submitted by both buyer and seller.
  • Conduct additional investigation if required.
  • Take the final decision regarding refund, replacement, or rejection.

The final decision taken by the Marketplace Team shall be binding on both the customer and seller.


7. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are generally non-returnable unless damaged or incorrect:

  • Customized or altered products
  • Accessories, innerwear, and hygiene-related products
  • Products marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-returnable” on the product page

8. Return Shipping Charges

  • If the return reason is due to seller fault (wrong, damaged, or defective product), return shipping charges will be fully borne by Villagers Trend.
  • If the return is due to customer-related reasons (change of mind, wrong size selection, etc.), shipping and return charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

9. RTO (Return to Origin) Policy

  • If a customer refuses delivery or remains unavailable, the shipment may be marked as RTO (Return to Origin).
  • Applicable RTO charges may be deducted from the seller wallet as per marketplace policy.
  • Re-shipping can be arranged after payment of applicable re-shipping charges.
