RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

Note: Please make sure to take a proper unboxing video after the product is delivered, the product should be visible in the video and should not have been tampered with before. Product return or exchange will be ensured based on the video taken by you.

• Please note that any defects found in the product should be properly shown in the unboxing video. The product should not be already opened. Opening the product first and then sticking it back and then making an unboxing video will be against our policy, in such a case your return cannot be accepted. In whatever video is made, show any defects found in the product correctly and clearly.

Villagers Trend Return and Exchange Policy gives you the option to return or exchange items purchased on Villagers Trend for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (see product details page for this). Returns will be picked up from the same address where the product has been delivered. Feel free to try out a product, but we only ask that the product remains unused and preserved in its original condition with tags and packaging. If a seal tag is received with the item, make sure it is attached and intact with the product to avoid any hassle in case of return/exchange. There are two ways to return the product to us:

• Pick Up: At most locations, we offer a free pick up service. You will see a pickup option when you submit a return request. 
• Self-ship: If we do not offer pick up at your location. In such cases, we will credit the shipping cost as VillagersTrend Credit, provided the product meets the return policy and you have shared a scanned copy of the courier receipt with us.

During pick up, our delivery agent will conduct a quality check of the return. For successful pick up, we will send the return amount in the refund mode selected at the time of initiating the return request. However, please note that the refund will be initiated once the product is received at our warehouse and passes the quality check. If the product picked up does not pass the quality check, we will send it back to you.

If you choose to exchange the item due to size mismatch or receiving a defective item, you will be provided a replacement of the item free of cost. However all exchanges are subject to stock availability and your address being serviceable for exchange. If you choose to exchange an item, our delivery representative will deliver the new item to you and also pick up the original item from you.

Please note that we give you the option to exchange the item you purchased on Villagers Trend for the same or different size of the same style or for another item of the same or different value from Villagers Trend within the specified exchange period, provided your address is serviceable for exchange.

The following exceptions and rules apply to this policy:

1. Precious jewellery, sunglasses, socks, briefs, shapewear bottoms, any lingerie set that includes briefs, swimwear, mittens, wrist-bands cannot be exchanged or returned.
2. Certain products such as fine jewellery, watches and select products that are susceptible to damage can only be returned/exchanged for a limited number of days.
3. Certain products such as sherwanis can only be exchanged, not returned. Please read the product details page to see how many days a product can be returned/exchanged after delivery.
4. All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in their original condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.
5. Under the Exchange Policy
6. Non-refundable products/categories cannot be exchanged.
7. The Platform Handling Fee (as defined under 'Terms of Use') does not apply to exchanged orders.
8. Regarding the refund amount, the product refund amount will be added to your wallet within 2 to 3 days after the returned product is successfully picked up. Which you can use for the next purchase.

Villagers Trend reserves the right to prohibit the exchange of items purchased on the Villagers Trend Platform if the Customer violates or abuses this Policy in any way, as determined at Villagers Trend sole discretion. If you have purchased an item that has a free gift/offer attached to it and you wish to return the main item, you must return the free product as well.

Note: The exchange/replacement will be delivered to the same address where the original product was delivered. If you wish to receive the exchange at a new address, we recommend you return the item for a refund and place a new order with the new address.

If you self-ship your return, please pack the item securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you use a reliable courier service.

If you self-ship your return, your shipping costs will be reimbursed provided your return is in accordance with our Returns and Exchanges Policy and the courier receipt image is shared by you and validated by us. For self-shipped returns, refunds for returned products will be initiated only after they pass the quality check conducted at the warehouse. If the quality check fails, the product will be shipped back to you.

Note: If there is a demand to get the unstitched clothes stitched and then ordered cannot be returned or cancelled under any circumstances.
