1. Introduction

This Seller Legal Notice Policy governs the use of the Villagers Trend marketplace by all registered sellers. By registering, listing products, or selling on the platform, the seller agrees to comply with the terms outlined in this policy.

Villagers Trend operates as an online marketplace that provides a digital platform connecting buyers and sellers. Villagers Trend acts solely as an intermediary and does not own the products listed by sellers.

2. Seller Responsibilities

Each seller agrees to:

• List only genuine and legally permissible products

• Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications

• Avoid false, misleading, or deceptive information

• Comply with applicable GST and tax regulations

• Mention correct HSN codes where applicable

• Maintain proper inventory and product quality

Villagers Trend shall not be held responsible for inaccurate listings or misrepresentations made by sellers.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

• Sellers must not list counterfeit, copied, or trademark-infringing products.

• Sellers are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to sell branded or copyrighted items.

• Upon receiving a valid intellectual property complaint, Villagers Trend reserves the right to remove the listing without prior notice.

• Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

4. Prohibited Products

The following items are strictly prohibited from being listed or sold:

• Illegal goods under Indian law

• Counterfeit or duplicate branded products

• Offensive, obscene, or unlawful content

• Restricted or banned items

• Hazardous or harmful products

Violation of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. Order Fulfillment & Delivery

• Sellers must dispatch confirmed orders within the specified timeframe.

• Sellers are responsible for proper packaging and timely shipping.

• Any delay, cancellation, or stock unavailability must be communicated promptly.

• Product quality remains solely the responsibility of the seller.

6. Returns & Refunds

• Sellers must comply with the Villagers Trend Return & Refund Policy.

• Refunds must be processed within the specified timeline.

• In cases of wrong, defective, or damaged products, the seller shall bear responsibility.

7. Commission & Payment

• Villagers Trend shall charge a predefined commission on successful transactions.

• Payment settlements shall follow the platform’s payment cycle.

• Villagers Trend reserves the right to revise commission rates or service charges at its discretion.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

Villagers Trend reserves the right to suspend or terminate any seller account without prior notice in cases including but not limited to:

• Violation of platform policies

• Fraudulent activities

• Repeated customer complaints

• Fake tracking updates or false order processing

• Sale of prohibited or counterfeit products

9. Limitation of Liability

Villagers Trend operates solely as an intermediary platform between buyers and sellers.

• The platform does not guarantee product quality or authenticity.

• Villagers Trend shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Disputes between buyers and sellers shall primarily be resolved between the concerned parties.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

In the event of any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or in connection with the use of the platform, the courts located in Sikar, Rajasthan (India) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

All sellers expressly agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sikar, Rajasthan.

11. Policy Updates

Villagers Trend reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website and shall become effective immediately upon posting.
