A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account Registration & Identity: Name, email address, mobile phone number, gender, and password during registration or social sign-in (Google, Facebook, Apple Sign-In).
- Delivery Address & Shipping Information: Recipient name, mobile number, detailed shipping address, landmark, pincode, city, and state.
- Payment & Transaction Information: Order details, cart items, billing records, and payment mode chosen. (Encrypted online payments via PhonePe, Paytm, Razorpay, UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallet, or Cash on Delivery. We do not store raw card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs).
- User Generated Content: Product reviews, ratings, photos, unboxing videos submitted for returns, and support chat messages.
B. Information Automatically Collected by the App
- Device Identifiers & Technical Data: Device brand, model, OS version, IP address, unique Android ID, Firebase Registration Token (FCM Token for push notifications), app version, and crash logs.
- Usage Analytics: App feature interactions, viewed products, search queries, and session timestamps.
2. Mobile App Device Permissions Used
The Villagers Trend Android application requests the following device permissions to enable specific app functionalities:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS(Android 13+): To send real-time order status notifications, shipment tracking alerts, flash deal notifications, and support messages.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION&ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: To auto-detect your delivery pincode/address, verify shipping serviceability, and calculate delivery charges.CAMERA&READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE/READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: To allow you to upload profile avatars, product review images, and unboxing proof videos/photos for return requests.INTERNET&ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Essential for app connectivity with Villagers Trend servers, loading product catalogs, and completing checkouts.
3. Third-Party Services & SDKs Integrated in App
Our application integrates official third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) for core functionality:
- Google Play Services & Firebase (Google LLC): Used for Firebase Core Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM Push Notifications), and Google Sign-In authentication.
- Meta / Facebook SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Used for Facebook Login and event analytics.
- PhonePe SDK & Payment Gateways: Used for secure UPI, Card, and Net Banking payment processing.
- Flutter Downloader: Used for downloading PDF tax invoices and order receipts to your device.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To process, pack, ship, and deliver orders placed from sellers on the marketplace.
- To send transactional updates (order confirmation, dispatch, out for delivery, delivered) via Push Notifications, SMS, Email, and WhatsApp.
- To process Wallet recharges, Club Points rewards, and authorized return/refund requests.
- To prevent fraudulent orders, bogus returns, unauthorized access, and security breaches.
- To comply with tax regulations, GST invoicing rules, and statutory audits.
5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Access
We do NOT sell or trade your personal data. Data is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with:
- Sellers & Logistics Partners: Recipient name, delivery address, pincode, and phone number shared with sellers and courier partners (e.g., Shiprocket, Delhivery) solely for order fulfillment.
- Payment Processors: Encrypted payment parameters shared with RBI-authorized payment gateways.
- Legal Enforcement: Disclosed only if mandated by court orders or legal process under Indian law.
6. Account Deletion & Data Retention (Google Play Policy Compliant)
You have full control over your personal account and data on Villagers Trend:

- Timeline: Your personal profile, delivery addresses, cart items, and device FCM tokens will be permanently erased from our active servers within 7 to 14 business days. (Tax invoice history is retained in archives as required by GST laws).
